List history
Just for the record, here's a bit of history.
hendryx@listbot.com - Listbot offered a nice, advertising supported, free list
that was easy to use. This list really took off and was
a great joy. However, Microsoft bought Listbot and
eventually decided to charge more than seemed reasonable
to me, especially since I believe Microsoft is an evil
corporation. Shutting this list down was retrospectively
a mistake.
rumors@halfadaycreek.com - This list used the Majordomo software, which
is just too hard to use. And my lack of Internet access
meant that I couldn't spend the time that might have made
it more successful.
- hendryx@yahoogroups.com - This works about the same as the original Listbot
list - easy to use and free. Started in Aug 2002.
